The Committee on Equal Opportunities (COPEC) of the European Court of Auditors has the pleasure to invite you to a webinar on
“Gender domestic violence in times of COVID-19”
In times of quarantine and social isolation, there is a high risk that victims of domestic abuse and gender-based violence find themselves confined with their abusers. Isolation, financial and food insecurity, anxiety about the crisis, drug use and consumption of alcohol, the psychological impact of unemployment and close proximity are all factors conducive to gender-based violence. How is civil society responding to these unprecedented challenges?
Through this webinar, COPEC would like to raise awareness on this phenomenon, launch a dialogue amongst stakeholders across the EU and share good practices.
